Extrait de l'aide pédagogique pour "Academic experience" :
In personal or professional life, you will often need to talk about your academic background and educational qualifications. It is therefore important to be able to exchange information and views on educational matters, particularly types of education, school subjects and qualifications as well as be able to engage in discussions on these matters and account for their views.
The educational system in the U.K
In the U.K there are three principal levels of education; primary, secondary and tertiary (also known as higher, or third level). The countries of the United Kingdom have separate educational systems under separate governments. At school level there are two types of schools, state schools (funded by the government or private donors or businesses) and independent schools. Independent schools are private, and in England and Wales at least are, confusingly, known as ‘public schools’. They tend to be very exclusive and expensive, some of the most famous are Eton, Harrow, and Westminster.
